Bahamas Winter 2007

This winter we were lucky to be invited to spend a week with Laura and Ben Herman and their two kids in the Bahamas. Laura's mom has a house, which has a full kitchen and all, so not only was it wonderful, but it ended up being less expensive than the 24 hours we stayed in Florida!

The 4 kids were each 1 year apart (Will 4, Max 3, Jack 2, Charlie 1), and they all just got along so well. Charlie especially loved following Jack around.

In addition both "Mamas" were pregnant, so all in all the trip just had a great rhythm to it. This was the first island vacation that Jason's been on that he wasn't sick of before the trip was over. I think this is mostly because we had our own kitchen, we weren't staying at some sort of resort with maids and waiters and all, the weather wasn't too hot, and of course the company was great!
