DATE: Sunday, August 5th - 11 a.m. 'til dusk (2 meals)

RAIN DATE: Sunday, August 12th - 11 a.m. 'til dusk (2 meals)

LOCATION: Look Park in Northampton, MA. - Picnic Sites 67 D, E, F, G, J, H, or check with information at Look Park to ask for the "The Mark Picnic".

DIRECTIONS FROM THE SOUTH: I-91 North to Exit 19. Go straight ahead through all intersections where you can go straight. When the road ends in a T-intersection, you'll see Look Park across the way. Take left, then immediate right into the park. It's about 5 - 10 minutes off the highway depending on traffic. Parking fee is usually $4 per car.

We've been married over 2,650 days! Come and help us to celebrate at Look Park. In the case of rain check the website for updates or call.

As always these are very kid friendly events, with playgrounds, paddle boats, and a little water park. There will also be Volleyball and BBQ. The food is potluck, and it would be helpful if you could please RSVP and let me know what you'll be bringing (chips, ribs, fruit salad, etc.). I will supply plates, forks, cups, napkins, charcoal, etc.

Some people come for the whole time, other people come for a couple of hours. Often families and/or groups wander off around the park and wander back. Nothing formal, just fun. :)

Please feel free to bring friends and to pass this invite along to anyone who's you think I might not have on my list whom I should. I hope to see you all there.

PSEUDO BABY SHOWER - SPECIAL UPDATE:

We'll be combining this event with a baby shower for our 3rd little munchkin. In case anyone doesn't know, our 3rd child will be a boy and will be born on Sept 15th (give or take a few weeks).

We have a name in mind but we're not telling until after the birth, in case we change our mind. :) We're all very excited, and since we've been through this a couple of times, and have gotten tons of great hand-me-downs from friends and family, we really don't need much "stuff" (esp. Since our house is full to bursting and Christine has spent the last 2 weeks bringing stuff to Goodwill, and putting it in front of the house with a "Free" sign).

That being said, if you're the kind of person that feels weird not bringing a gift, there are a few things that would certainly make us (and TBD3) very happy:

Babysitting
We're looking at bunk beds and any cash towards that would be appreciated
Anything homemade (cloths, hats, blankets, toys, etc.)
Donations to college funds
Pre-Loved books (used copies of old favorites)
A donation to the preschool that all 3 kids will be attending next year (Hampshire College Children's Center). It's really like leaving the kids with family. Everyone there is so caring, and also know knowledgeable about what they do, and their budgets are always so skimpy, so every little bit helps.
Did I mention babysitting?
