Settling down

Howdy all,

Things are settling down with Charlie Grace here.  We feel like we're out of the woods, and ready to start the "normal parenting" lack of sleep as opposed to the "is she still breathing?" lack of sleep.  I must admit I still poke her more than I poked Max, and check to see if she's still breathing more, but in general we're doing much better.

We got out of the house today, which was nice.  We went up to the local parent center, so Max could play with other kids, and that was fun.  Charlie napped through the whole trip, but she seemed to enjoy it .

We've moved Thanksgiving from our house so Christine has some private space.  I'm a little stressed about that because I always like to be where-ever there's a gathering.  My mom's still staying with us and helping out, and it's great to have a second set of hand.s  Tammy flies in tomorrow at 5PM, and we're hoping she can help keep us company late at night.  Who am I kidding, we're hoping she can help keep CHRISTINE company late at night, since she's the one that provides food, and I can only do so much...
